English-Spanish Talking Partner® Dictionary for Pocket PC provides bidirectional word translation and synthesis of speech.
The ability to pronounce words of two languages is the distinguishing feature of this software translator. You don’t have to check the transcription, merely select the word and with one click make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) is based on a new approach to speech synthesis, i.e. on formanta synthesis, which creates a human vocal tract simulation by modelling sounds of a national language.

The Talking Partner® Dictionary for Pocket PC has the following features:

Overview of all the dictionary entries in the Main List.
All translations of the selected word displayed in the Translations List.
Pronunciation of all the listed English and Spanish words. The function is developed on the basis of the TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology.
Quick search function: just start typing a word in the Input Line and words beginning with these letters will appear on the screen.
Quick reverse translation for proof of correct understanding.
Virtual keyboard for the input of specific symbols (e.g. diacritics), if needed.
The list for word memorizing: the application stores selected words in the Filtered List thus helping the user to learn them.
Search function works for any symbol sequence as entered.
